Data sources and coverage

Every record comes straight from an official trademark office. The list below is live: it shows each office we collect from and how many of its trademarks Signa tracks today.

  1. 01USPTO. Bulk ZIP archives of XML, read as a stream.
  2. 02EUIPO. A paged JSON API, then a call for each record's details.
  3. 03WIPO. Weekly ZIP archives of XML notifications, over FTP.
  4. 04IPOS. A full CSV snapshot of a versioned dataset.
  5. 05INPI France. A JSON bulk snapshot, then XML updates over FTP.
  6. 06One handoff. Every feed becomes the same raw record batches, ready to normalize.

Data licence

Trademark records are public register data. Signa adds the grouping, normalization and counting on top. Signa’s datasets and statistics are provided for reference and research; redistribution and commercial reuse are governed by the Terms of Service.
